BI Team Leader

Our client is a dynamic and innovative company operating in the digital marketing sector, specializing in mobile design and online marketing. They support clients across the betting and iGaming industry with their User Acquisition covering; SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Digital Media Buying, Social Media Marketing, Paid Search and Marketing Strategy. They are a leading force in the fast-growing USA market, where they hold licenses across all available states and support all tier one USA operators. In addition, they also support leading online casinos and sports betting operators across Europe and Canada. As the business continues to grow and expand, they are now looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Team Leader with background as BI Developer and strong team leadership capabilities to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models, as well as experience leading a team to achieve project goals. Experience in either iGaming, iGaming Affiliation, or Digital Advertising is a must.

BI Solution Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualisations, using tools such as Power BI, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate their requirements into effective BI solutions that provide actionable insights.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor members in the BI team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of projects. Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance on best practices in BI development.

Database Management:

• Utilise your expertise in MS SQL and MySQL to design, maintain, and optimise databases, data warehouse and ensuring data integrity and performance.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues related to BI reports, dashboards, and data models. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BI solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with the latest BI technologies and methodologies, and actively contribute to the improvement of processes and tools within the team.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity a background in iGaming, Affiliation, or Digital Advertising is a must. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate proven leadership skills within the field of BI.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in BI development using SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, MS SQL, and MySQL.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in creating complex reports and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimise queries.
• Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and database design.

Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
