Our client is a leading iGaming operator, with multiple brands covering sports betting and online casino, targeting regulated markets. They employ over 1,000 people and have enjoyed rapid growth and success. They offer a fantastic working culture, which provides a supportive and inclusive work environment. They are now looking for an experienced Country Manager to lead Sweden, their number one market, plus also take responsibility for Denmark.
Role
Taking P&L responsibility for both Sweden and Denmark, you will take strategic responsibility for 3 brands operating in the market. The group will provide the required investment to grow market share and increase revenues.
- Market opportunities research
- New partnership deals
- Regulatory body collaboration and setting good relationships
- Liaise with head office and teams with weekly sync up
- Implement an effective brand strategy and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints
- Improve and increase business KPIs and ensure profitability and ROI on investments
- Constantly maintain a good image of the company
- Recruit and train new local staff if and when needed
Requirements
Our client is looking to recruit a high calibre Country Manager or Marketing Director to lead the region who is driven, ambitious and strategically minded.
- Vast experience (ideally a min. 4 years) and understanding of the iGaming industry within Sweden / Denmark
- Understanding and working knowledge of P&L
- Attention to detail and ownership of the market thorough understanding of business KPIs
- Relationships with local regulatory bodies and complete understanding of local laws of iGaming industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field (preferably a Master’s degree)
- Experience in regulated markets is a must
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- A good knowledge base of the country/region, and a willingness to learn
- The ability to provide excellent customer service
- Fluent in English & Swedish/Danish
