Director of Payments

Summary:

• Lead end-to-end Payments operations and development across a number of markets.
• Based in Malta or Cyprus, with occasional travel to other offices.
• Manage cross-brand teams, drive operational KPIs, and enhance third-party relationships.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for target achievement.
• Strategize, optimize payment platforms, and innovate in response to industry changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and execute payment strategies for revenue and profit goals.
• Manage operational KPIs and timely reporting.
• Lead payments team’s performance and development.
• Coordinate product roadmap with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Analyse competition, customer behaviour, and product usage.
• Ensure efficient and effective payment channels.
• Incorporate stakeholder requirements into payment products.
• Foster strong relationships with payment partners, card schemes, and Fintech.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of eCommerce/payments experience.
• Proven leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of payment ecosystems, international markets, and regulations.
• Proficiency in stakeholder collaboration and team/department management.
• Expertise in data management tools and optimization.
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills.
