An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Amazon Marketer to join a well-known global consumer products business who are a major player in their category, on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.

Working as part of the highly collaborative Ecommerce team, you will own the relationship with Amazon UK&I, delivering growth within what is the biggest online account for the business, with full P&L management as well as being responsible for product availability, pricing, shopper marketing, supply chain efficiencies, content and analytics.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide on-going strategic insights and thought leadership based on industry, customer, shopper and marketplace trends to support category strategy
  • Lead the Analytics capabilities for the e-Commerce team, drive new initiatives and provide the team with actionable insights to drive growth
  • Own Ecommerce promotions and assortment decisions
  • Develop, with brand and other business leaders, the commercialisation programs and yearly planning.
  • Coordinate with cross- functional teams, including the Global Amazon team
  • Take the lead on understanding product line specific key business objectives and develop growth strategy
  • Support and investigate new market opportunities to create new demand drivers for the brand
  • Lead, Develop and train an eCommerce Executive
  • Oversee the progression of the Amazon Seller Central account, to compliment Vendor partnership

Skills & Experience: 

  • Extensive hands-on sales experience, managing your own P&L within in eCommerce
  • Experience of working with Amazon for a consumer products business
  • Strong quantitative ability and comfort with data driven decision processes
  • A strong understanding of the key metrics to drive the business online
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
