We’re looking to hire a Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition Manager to lead the digital acquisition and retention marketing strategy, tactics, planning and execution Internationally. This person will be responsible for devising a full strategy including SEO, PPC, affiliates, retargeting and paid social and will lead e-commerce for the business.

The candidate should be highly analytical, data driven and will seek to improve upon our key KPIs by acquiring the right type of customer. You will have had some experience in managing Facebook, Amazon & Google.

Key duties include:

  • Design, manage and implement digital subscriber acquisition marketing strategy to ensure that objectives are met to maximum efficiency and harvest long term growth for the business
  • Set up, launch, optimise and efficiently scale acquisition driven campaigns
  • Lead and define the SEO strategy across the business whilst working closely with an SEO Agency
  • Manage monthly performance marketing spend ensuring every £ is accounted for
  • Analyse and report data to measure effectiveness of campaigns on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, using data to maximise quality and efficiencies
  • Monitor and evaluate on-site performance which in turn improves SEO
  • Review all customer touchpoints and drive key marketing initiatives to drive traffic
  • Deliver against KPIs optimizing against customer lifetime value to meet annual forecast and goals
  • Have a solid understanding and knowledge of Paid Search
  • Develop recommendations to reach new members through desktop and mobile campaigns, including creative and messaging strategy
  • Automate where possible with the support of website apps to drive efficiencies
  • Maintain agency relationships by setting goals, providing media assets, performance feedback, and managing budgets
  • Support agency with paid acquisition strategy and develop blue print for new market entries
  • Manage creative, ad, and landing page testing schedule to drive improved campaign results (internal + with agency support)
  • Build out customer profiling to better understand core and periphery targets for each campaign
  • Manage database and subscribers with bespoke journeys and outreach programs
  • Map and enhance the customer user journey, ensuring the user experience is as frictionless as possible, and make recommendations to improve conversion rates at each step of the user flow
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders in devising monthly email cycle plans for all trading websites
  • Create new retention programs that will drive improvements in lifetime engagement and ensure we retain all newly acquired customers

Qualifications:

  • Desired Skills and Experience include:
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business Development, Math or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of customer acquisition digital marketing experience in an ecommerce / direct response environment
  • Experience in performance marketing with a strong grasp on converting & retaining shoppers
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, PPC, affiliates, retargeting and paid social
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work within constantly changing landscapes.
  • Strong bias for action and desire to drive growth, test & learn
  • Understands how to attribute spend and performance across a range of channels
  • Experience with Google and Amazon channels
  • Understanding of Facebook’s paid advertising platform, paid search, mobile media, affiliate marketing, display media, and sponsored content campaigns
  • Expertise in e-commerce operations and digital business strategy
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills including a strong understanding of online marketing metrics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives
  • Understands the importance of long-term brand building and how this interacts with paid acquisitions to drive sustainable commercial outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, planning, and project management skills with individuals at both peer and management levels
  • Experience on Shopify and Mail chimp platforms a plus
  • Basic Photoshop and HTML knowledge a plus
