The Business

Established in 1993, Kedem Europe is an importer of Fine Wines & Specialist Spirits. Boasting a large but carefully considered portfolio of Old and New World Wines from Kosher Certified to No/Low Alcohol, featuring exclusive brands including Vera Wang Prosecco, Boondocks American Whiskey, Zarza Tequila and many, many more.

The Role in Brief

Kedem Europe is entering their next stage of accelerated growth within the UK drinks market, and as a result, are seeking a driven and passionate individual to join their team as a Sales Manager.

The role with focus on winning new business, and development existing key customers within On and Off Trade outlets such as Bars, Hotels, Restaurants, Luxury & Specialist Retail. Driving incremental growth in line with the overall business plans, taking ownership of your sales, distribution, visibility, activations, promotions, trade & consumer events, thereby increasing volume and value within your respective channel.

Ideal Candidate Capabilities:

  • A confident, tenacious, dynamic and strategic approach to face-to-face sales, 90% of this role is customer facing
  • Autonomous working and structured diary planning, with a proven ability to win new business and manage existing customer needs
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and real desire to deliver in a results-driven business
  • The ability to open doors in multiple categories of accounts (mainstream, premium, prestige, meta luxury). Proven experience in the channel with a black book of existing contacts will be extremely advantageous
  • A deep understanding of the industry, with insider knowledge, who to target, and how to make it happen.
  • A talent to identify opportunities, leverage relationships and make things happen quickly
  • A confident public speaker and enthusiastic trainer, showcasing ability and credibility to influence experts at trade and consumer level
  • Strong presentation skills along with a passionate knowledge of the on/off trade and wine & spirits industry
  • Timely and detailed reporting
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, and social media savvy
