As Supply Partnership Manager you will be working for a leading supplier of fresh produce into the UK retail market. Since the company’s incorporation, the business has now grown, turning over in excess of £115million within the UK.  As part of my client’s strategic plans for remainder of this year, they have created this exciting new opportunity based from Cheshire.

The key purpose of this role is to take full ownership of our clients’ retail supply plan whilst supporting the chosen retail produce team with the day to day running of the fresh produce category.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Assisting the SNAM in the day to day running of the key customer account
  • Assisting in the creation and management in the joint business plans
  • Highlighting any promotional, price and store distribution changes to maximise operational efficiencies
  • Monitoring weekly sales, working within the retail supply chain to identify any changes in demand and highlight to internal procurement and operational functions
  • Delivering accurate forecasting to ensure cover of demand and ensure adequate stock to deliver contractual DSL
  • Highlighting possible promotional opportunities
  • Project managing promotions, range changes and seasonal events jointly with the SNAM for the benefit of both businesses
  • Managing end to end packaging changes

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting and new opportunity it is essential you have previous or current experience working within either a commercial or supply chain role in the consumer goods industry. Experience working as a graduate within the required functions and industry is equally relevant and of interest to our client. You must have the confidence to challenge key stakeholders both internally and externally whilst also being able be able to demonstrate high analytical skills and attention to detail.
