Lead Frontend Game Developer

Location: Serbia

An innovative and fast-growing game studio is looking for a Lead Frontend Game Developer to shape the client-side experience of high-quality games from concept to release.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine technical ownership, creativity, and performance optimisation to deliver engaging player experiences.

🎯 What you’ll do

• Lead frontend development from first playable to release

• Own performance, scalability, and code quality

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and backend teams

• Translate features into technical solutions and drive delivery

• Mentor developers and elevate team standards

• Improve workflows, frameworks, and production pipelines

🧠 What we’re looking for

• 6+ years in software development

• Strong expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript

• Experience leading frontend or game client development

• Solid understanding of game architecture & client-server interactions

• Proven mentoring and code review experience

• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams

⭐ Nice to have

• Experience with game engines/frameworks (e.g. PixiJS)

• Background in slot/casino or live game environments

• Performance optimisation for mobile/web games
