They employ approximately 15,000 people globally and generate multi-billion Euro revenues annually. One of the companies within this group is the leading casino operator in Germany, and within their portfolio they operate 10 state-licensed casinos in Niedersachsen.
Our client is now looking to hire a Senior IT System Administrator who will play a key role in actively shaping the IT landscape across these 10 venues. You will be part of the team who are responsible for an extensive IT environment—from the data centre all the way to the casino floor. In this role, you are not just an administrator – you are a co‑creator!
Your Responsibilities:

- Design, further develop, and operate our IT infrastructure
- Administer and optimize Linux and virtualization environments
- Ensure high availability and IT security
- Monitor and automate IT processes
- Take technical responsibility for defined system areas
- Manage external service providers
- Contribute to infrastructure projects and ongoing development
Our Technologies:
- Windows and Linux servers
- Microsoft 365, Azure (hybrid)
- Automation using PowerShell, Python, Shell
- Matrix42 for ITSM & Asset Management
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience operating IT infrastructures
- Solid knowledge of networking, Linux, and virtualization
- Experience with automation and scripting
- Enjoy structured work and sustainable solutions
- Strong communication skills and a hands‑on mentality
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
- Class B driver’s license (for site visits)
