Team Triumph: Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge Raises £800 for Cancer Research UK!
Posted on 24-05-23 by Jack Woolsey
On the 19th May, a team of six Clear Edge colleagues donned their walking boots and took on the the daunting Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Covering 24-miles (38.6km) and conquering the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales, the team achieved this incredible feat while raising close to £800 for their chosen charity partner, Cancer Research UK.
Clear Edge selected Cancer Research UK as the charity partner for 2023, as it is a charity close to the hearts of many. In the UK, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and the ground breaking work undertaken by Cancer Research aims to bring forward the day when all cancers can be cured.
Huge congratulations to team members; Terry Batty, Wes Ferguson, Peter Hayes, Clare Kenyon, Teighan Nichol and Ellie-Jade Pearce. Completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is not only a personal achievement but a testament to the power of teamwork. Each team member pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones, offering encouragement and support to one another every step of the way.
